Life in 24 Frames – Think Tank 7″

Life in 24 Frames Think Tank EP front cover designed by Jason Malmberg at Decabet

Sacramento indie/alternative rock band Life in 24 Frames’ two-song 45 pressed on splatter vinyl, with artwork to match the ambition. The front cover puts a flat-color figure inside a receding hexagonal tunnel, reaching toward a glowing core while a dark, ink-splattered shadow creature looms behind it — psychedelic without being precious, grounded in the physicality of the format. The back flips the palette and swaps illustration for photography, stacking the band in a halftoned totem against the same hexagonal field.

The B-side is a cover of Failure‘s “Another Space Song,” and that lineage is worn openly. The whole package has the texture and intentionality of a record that knows exactly what it is: a limited object worth holding.
